The bible says in 1 John 3:8 "He who sins is of the devil, for the devil sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil." There were many signs throughout the bible of men of God healing the sick and raising the dead and other great miracles but only through Jesus were people delivered from demons (see Mark 1:23-27). Casting out of demons was one of the proofs of the kingdom of God that was now available to man through the coming of Jesus our Saviour (Matthew 12:28). Power was given to the twelve disciples to heal the sick and to cast out demons (Matthew 10:1). After Jesus had risen from the dead he told his disciples to continue to cast out demons "and these signs will follow those who believe in my name, they will cast out demons" (Mark 16:17). There is no better time to walk in the authority of the Holy Spirit and cast out demons.
