FAQS?
There is a popular saying that “seeing is believing.” In Christianity the opposite is true; we don’t believe because we see, but we expect to see because we believe, (Hebrews 11:1). This is what is known as faith. It is by faith that a Christian believe in a God whose form he has never seen, nor can see. For us, the evidence is the Bible, the testimony of Jesus; it is beholding the wonders of creation – from the inanimate blade of grass to the greatest of his creation – the human form.
Belief in the God of the Bible without so-called evidence appears to be a contentious issue for many people. Yet I doubt very much that any of those people would ask for evidence of the pilot’s qualification before allowing themselves to be transported across perilous seas and inaccessible mountains ranges at a height of several thousand feet? Neither do they demand evidence of the frequencies by which an electronic device functions before putting their trust in it. On the contrary, there is invariably an automatic expression of faith based on what they have been told or come to understand. It is necessary to have the same attitude In order to believe in the existence of God: you believe because you have heard (Romans 10:14) and all that may be known about examine the Bible for yourself. There you will find that all that may be made known about God has been made known, (Romans 1:19-20).
