FAQS?

God is not three persons. The Bible teaches that there is only one God, (Deuteronomy 6:4). He exists in three persons, called God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, (Mat 28:20). These are not three individual or different persons in the ordinary sense of the word as one would think of triplet brother, or of water, snow, and ice or of fire, heat, and smoke. Rather, they are three modes or forms in which the Godhead (God the Father) exists. Each one possess all the attributes of the Godhead. In other words, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit contain the fullness of God the Father, and vice-versa. Each is God, but not a god. They are therefore equal in being, authority, and power but subordinate in roles. This subordination is not one of inferiority, but one that is mutual relating to their function, operation and order. As in human relationships, the Father has authority over the Son, (John 14:28), and both Father and Son direct the Holy Spirit, (John 14:26, 15:26).

This is something unique to God alone.  As finite beings with limitations, it is indeed difficult to understand without the help of the Spirit of God. We know from scripture that God’s ways and thoughts far exceed ours, so that they are “higher” than ours, (Isaiah 55: 9). His promises, ways, and purposes are to be received by faith, with the Bible being the final authority, (2 Tim 3: 16).
